There is no fee to participate; however, there is a substantial time commitment. CLA will meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm from August 24th to October 12th at City Hall in the Enterprise Community Conference Room (8th Floor/8E10).  Participants will learn about various aspects of local government including the structure of government, finances, public works, operations, public safety, planning, economic development, et al. Each of the Academy’s interactive sessions will be led by representatives from City departments or guest lecturers. Refreshments will be served during each session; and a closing ceremony will be held at the end of the 8 weeks on October 12, 2023.
