Good morning Algiers Community,

Algiers Plaza was recently sold to a California based company for 35million dollars. No businesses will be closing as a result of this sale, Winn-Dixie will be making renovations to its store.  The previous YouFit site is being shopped around for new tenants. 

Our office met with the buyers’ representatives, and discussed the needs of Algiers. Some areas of need that were discussed were family dining, entertainment, small hardware store, etc. Please share this information with your neighbors. We will keep you updated if and when there are new developments.
