 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

This SELA project is important drainage work for Algiers. The next phase may impact traffic along Gen. DeGaulle, particularly at the Holiday-DeGaulle intersection. The bridge may be closed temporarily for repairs at that intersection. Come to the meeting Thursday, 08/29 to learn more and voice your concerns.
