Algiers Career & Educational Development Program for High Schoolers
From: Algiers Economic Development Foundation (AEDF)
AEDF is excited to partner with Rep. Gary Carter’s office to provide the new ACED program for Algiers high school juniors and seniors, and run by Mrs. Jackie Perry. Through this (virtual) program, participants will be paired with an Algiers-based business or high educational institution to learn more about an industry of their interest while also working on their resumes and cover letters, and practicing interview and presentation skills. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until March 12th. You can learn more at algierseconomic.com/ACED

Walnut Bend Civic Association will conduct a face mask giveaway for Walnut Bend residents on Saturday, June 20 at the corner of Fiesta & Valentine from 9am – 11am, or until all are given out. We look forward to seeing you there!
