The RTA will operate extended hours on the Canal Street Ferry on Saturday, December 6, 2014 to accommodate residents wishing to attend the Algiers Point Bon Fire. The Canal St. to Algiers Point Ferry will operate an additional 2 hours beyond the normal schedule. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18 MEETING – ALGIERS REGIONAL LIBRARY, 5:30 – 7:00 PM Our last General Meeting of the year will be held at the Algiers Regional Library on Tuesday, November 18, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The meeting will focus on crime, blight and other neighborhood issues. Members of the NOPD 4th District will be in attendance. Crime cameras will also be part of the discussion. We have experienced more crime problems, including a robbery at gunpoint at 1:30 in the afternoon. Street Lights and streets continue to be concerns as well. |
