TOMORROW, August 19^th the By The People Debate Series, led by the Urban League of Louisiana and over 20 community partners,  will host the New Orleans City Council District C Debate.

The debate will take place at LB Landry High School Auditorium starting at 7:00 PM.

District C is a very important District that covers parts of the 7^th, 8^th, 9^th Wards, the French Quarter and all of Algiers. Come hear from the candidates who want your vote, District C!

Join us on the Westbank for District C’s 3rd quarter Coffee on Your Corner at the Algiers Regional Library. The topic for this event will be flooding and storm prep.

Coffee on Your Corner (COYC) is designed to be an engaging, in-person event that provides residents with an opportunity to hear about city programs, initiatives, and operations directly from city officials and/ or representatives. To accommodate residents who are less inclined to attend public meetings in the evenings outside of their communities, we’ve created Coffee on Your Corner (COYC) to bring city government to residents.
