Volunteer Clerks sought by NOPD

If you want to work in the New Orleans Police Department without having to go through the rigors of the training academy, Superintendent Ronal Serpas has a deal for you.

It’s a volunteer program called Volunteers Can Lead, or VoCaL. While it won’t let participants strap on heat or arrest suspects, it does offer administrative and clerical opportunities. For the full story, follow this link.
